Penmaenuchaf is a small luxury hotel, recently acquired by Seren, a unique collection of high-quality hospitality venues in Wales. The hotel is highly regarded as one of the finest privately-owned country house hotels in North Wales. Overlooking the Mawddach Estuary, at the foot of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia National Park, the 14-bedroom hotel is also home to an excellent restaurant that is also renowned for a wonderful wine list.

Seren currently includes the 5-star Grove of Narberth hotel, Michelin starred Beach House Restaurant in Oxwich, Coast Restaurant and Kiosk café in Saundersfoot.

We are now looking for a hands-on and dedicated Hotel Manager who is passionate about leading the team by example and to help guide the Hotel and Restaurant to become a nationally recognised destination.

 

What we offer:

  • Package up to £55k including Gratuities and Pension.
  • Gratuities evenly shared through Tronc system, currently employees enjoy circa 2k per annum.
  • Pension provided through NEST.
  • Discretionary bonus with earning potential of up to 10% of salary based on reaching KPIs.

A successful candidate will ideally have: 

  • Demonstrable 5 star hotel management experience with a strong food and beverage background.
  • Genuine and sincere nature with a real passion for customer service.
  • Natural confidence and first-class interpersonal skills.
  • Brilliant team player able to inspire staff and lead by example on the floor.
  • Passionate about training team members.
  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
  • A resilient nature with an ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and effectively.
  • Immaculate presentation and a friendly yet professional personality.

The hotel is highly regarded as one of the finest privately-owned country house hotels in North Wales. We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join the team on a part time basis.

What we offer:

  • Hourly rate of up to £10.00 per hour.
