French doors open out onto a substantial roof terrace with seating overlooking our rear gardens and the surrounding woodland. It has a small yet superbly comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower. This room is named after nearby lake in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and it’s one of the rumoured “Excalibur lakes” that claim to contain Arthur’s magical sword, Excalibur.
