We have compiled the below list of frequently asked questions ahead of your stay.
Accessibility
Sadly not, all of our accommodation is up at least one floor.
We do not, however the team are always on hand a to help you with your luggage.
Amenities
Wine, Champagne, flowers and chocolates are all available to order in advance. If you’d like to order any of these items, we’d appreciate it if you give us 1 week’s advanced notice.
Arrival
Check in is from 3pm and check out is at 11am.
Booking
We charge a 50% deposit. Rooms and stays booked as part of special promotional offer should be paid in full upon booking.
In the event of a cancellation made within 5 days of arrival, guests will be responsible for payment in full. For bookings of 2 rooms or more, and/or 3 nights or more, and/or special events, public holidays or discounted offers, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice of cancellation or amendment of any reservation, otherwise guests will be responsible for payment in full.
Festive season packages and some special events have individual cancellation policies, which will be listed on your booking confirmation.
Dining
Breakfast: 8am-10am
Lunch: 12pm – 2pm (please note, last orders for the lunchtime Tasting Menu is at 1pm)
Dinner: 7pm – 9pm
Lounge Menu: 12pm – 2pm + 6pm – 9pm
Afternoon Tea: 3pm – 5pm
All our food is prepared on the premises so we can cater for most dietary requirements with notice. Please do advise our staff of any dietary requirements and allergies when booking.
Yes, our Lounge Menu is available for Room Service between 12pm – 2pm
Yes, our Lounge Menu offers lighter dishes and is available from 12pm – 2pm
Our dress code is smart casual. We kindly request that no board shorts, sportswear, ripped jeans or flip flops are worn in the restaurant.
No, we don’t offer corkage.
Yes, we are open to non-resident guests.
Dogs
Yes, well behaved dogs (and their owners, of course) are very welcome. We have three dog-friendly bedrooms: two are Superior rooms on the first floor, while the other is a top floor Junior Suite. is a Luxury room, and the other is a Superior room. Informal dining from the Lounge Menu with your dog can be arranged in one of the lounge spaces as dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
We kindly request that owners are considerate and respectful of other guests, as not everyone likes dogs. The upkeep of the hotel and the grounds is also an important consideration.
We charge £25 per dog per night. Your dog will enjoy our upcycled doggy towels, blanket and very special treats.
Hotel
Yes, in-room massage treatments can be booked directly with reception. We offer a full body Swedish Massage, delivered by our practitioner who is VTCT Level 3 of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Swedish massage is the ideal way to wind down and relax. It works on the main muscle groups of the body, encouraging muscles to contract and relax. The massage will take approximately 1 hour, and will be preceded by a brief consultation.
1 hour massage is £65.
We have on site car parking.
Although we do have communal lounge areas, these do not have a TV.
The hotel is entirely non-smoking, including balconies and the terrace.
Rooms
Some of the larger bedrooms have the capacity for an additional bed. There is an additional charge of £60 per night bed and breakfast for this. Please call our reservations team directly so that they can advise the most suitable room for your requirements.
We have fridges in all rooms.
We don’t have Sky at present, however the televisions in the rooms are equipped with Freeview.
We have a limited number of cots available free of charge. Please let us know when you book if you wish to have a cot so we can advise on their availability.
