Accessibility

Do you have any accessible rooms? caret-down

Sadly not, all of our accommodation is up at least one floor.

Do you have a lift? caret-down

We do not, however the team are always on hand a to help you with your luggage.

Amenities

Can I order flowers and wine in advance of my stay? caret-down

Wine, Champagne, flowers and chocolates are all available to order in advance. If you’d like to order any of these items, we’d appreciate it if you give us 1 week’s advanced notice.

Arrival

What time is check in/out? caret-down

Check in is from 3pm and check out is at 11am.

Booking

Do you require a deposit?   caret-down

We charge a 50% deposit. Rooms and stays booked as part of special promotional offer should be paid in full upon booking.

What is your cancellation policy? caret-down

In the event of a cancellation made within 5 days of arrival, guests will be responsible for payment in full.  For bookings of 2 rooms or more, and/or 3 nights or more, and/or special events, public holidays or discounted offers, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice of cancellation or amendment of any reservation, otherwise guests will be responsible for payment in full.

Festive season packages and some special events have individual cancellation policies, which will be listed on your booking confirmation.

Dining

Breakfast: 8:00am-10:00am
Lunch (Thursday – Sunday): 12:30pm – 2:00pm (please note, last orders for the lunchtime Tasting Menu is at 1pm)
Dinner (Daily): 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Lounge Menu (Daily): 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Afternoon Tea (Daily): 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Sunday Lunch: 12:30pm – 2:00pm

 

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements? caret-down

All our food is prepared on the premises so we can cater for most dietary requirements with notice. Please do advise our staff of any dietary requirements and allergies when booking.

Do you offer room service? caret-down

Yes, our Lounge Menu is available for Room Service between 12pm – 2pm

Do you offer snacks or lighter meals? caret-down

Yes, our Lounge Menu offers lighter dishes and is available from 12pm – 2pm

Is there a dress code for dinner? caret-down

Our dress code is smart casual. We kindly request that no board shorts, sportswear, ripped jeans or flip flops are worn in the restaurant.

Do you offer corkage? caret-down

No, we don’t offer corkage.

Can external guests join resident guests for meal? caret-down

Yes, we are open to non-resident guests.

Dogs

Do you accept dogs? caret-down

Yes, well behaved dogs (and their owners, of course) are very welcome. We have three dog-friendly bedrooms: two are Superior rooms on the first floor, while the other is a top floor Junior Suite. Dog-friendly rooms must be booked directly with the reservations team, and cannot be booked online. Please get in touch via email or phone to enquire about options for dog-friendly rooms. 

We’re able to offer informal dog-friendly dining in one of our lounge spaces, where you can enjoy food from our Lounge Menu. Unfortunately your dog cannot join you in the restaurant.

We kindly request that owners are considerate and respectful of other guests, as not everyone likes dogs. The upkeep of the hotel and the grounds is also an important consideration.

Is there a charge for dogs? caret-down

We charge £25 per dog per night. Your dog will enjoy our doggy towels, blanket and very special treats.

Hotel

Do you offer Spa treatments? caret-down

Yes, in-room massage treatments can be booked directly with reception. We offer a full body Swedish Massage, delivered by our practitioner who is VTCT Level 3 of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Swedish massage is the ideal way to wind down and relax. It works on the main muscle groups of the body, encouraging muscles to contract and relax. The massage will take approximately 1 hour, and will be preceded by a brief consultation.
1 hour massage is £70.

What car parking facilities do you have? caret-down

We have on site car parking.

Do you have a TV lounge or viewing area? caret-down

Although we do have communal lounge areas, these do not have a TV.

Smoking caret-down

The hotel is entirely non-smoking, including balconies and the terrace.

Rooms

Do you have any family rooms? caret-down

While we don’t have any interconnecting rooms, we have several that are next door to each other and lend themselves well to being let together for families, especially the newly refurbished second floor rooms which are in pairs on their own landings.

We have at least one room in each category that can accommodate an additional single bed for couples staying with a child. There is an additional charge of £60 per night bed and breakfast for this. Please call our reservations team directly so that they can advise the most suitable room for your requirements.

In the hotel we welcome babes in arms and children over six.

Are there fridges and safes in the rooms? caret-down

We have fridges in all rooms.

Do you have sky sports in the rooms? caret-down

We don’t have Sky at present, however the televisions in the rooms are equipped with Freeview.

Do you have cots? caret-down

We have a limited number of cots available free of charge. Please let us know when you book if you wish to have a cot so we can advise on their availability.
