Room Overview

Our master bedroom has spectacular double-aspect views of the Mawddach Estuary and the formal gardens at the front of the house. It has a spacious bathroom with a corner Jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower and a ‘seat with a view.’
The room is named in honour of Cadair Idris, the mountain that sits above our hotel. The name translates to ‘Idris’ Chair’, and the mountain is one of the most recognisable shaped mountains in Wales. Idris was a giant, who is said to have used the mountain as his throne. Those who dare climb the mountain and sleep there, will apparently either lose their mind, or never wake up again!
