Room Overview

A perfectly proportioned, intimate bedroom, with an original antique fireplace. This room has beautiful views across our historic formal garden at the front of the house and the surrounding woodland. The pleasant bathroom has a bath with a shower over.

This room is named after the highest mountain in Wales – Yr Wyddfa. It’s the Welsh word for Snowdon and means “the tumulus” or “the barrow”, which may refer to the cairn thrown over the legendary giant Rhitta Gawr, after his defeat by King Arthur.

Accessibility: 1st floor accessed via 2 flights of stairs.
