Wyddfa is a recently refurbished, perfectly proportioned and intimate bedroom, featuring an original antique fireplace and a four-poster bed. It offers beautiful views over the historic formal gardens at the front of the house and the surrounding woodland. The pleasant bathroom includes a monsoon shower room.
This room is named after Yr Wyddfa, the highest mountain in Wales. The Welsh name for Snowdon, it means “the tumulus” or “the barrow”, believed to refer to the cairn said to cover the giant Rhitta Gawr, who was defeated by King Arthur in legend.
